Educate. Advocate. Empower.
Parenthood is an act of optimism. You believe that there is enough good in the world to show a new generation.
It’s hard, it’s worthwhile, and you don’t have to do it alone.
As a Doula, I support families by teaching them what they want to know, providing space for their needs to be met, and help parents realize they are capable as they are, with the gifts that they already have.
My Doula Services
Below the services I provide included in a base contract.
I provide many optional services for an additional fee that are offered and discussed during the interview and initial intake should we decide to work together.
I offer discounts for combined contracts.
Birth Doula
Base Contract Fee: $2,000
-
After being hired, we meet twice to help prepare a birth plan, including practicing comfort techniques, coping mechanisms, and generally getting to know each other.
-
When you decide you need my support in labor, I will be there. I place myself ‘on call’ 9 days before your due date where I have my phone volume on, and am no more than 1 hour away from you. I make sure your needs are met, we are doing everything we can do to make you feel in control during the unpredictable experience of labor.
-
I will stay with your family for about 2 hours after baby is born. During this time, I will help share announcements and ensure everyone’s needs are met. If you have decided to body feed, I will gently assist with its initiation.
-
3 days after you go home, and 3 weeks after that, I come to your home for about 2 hours. During that time, we retell your birth story, catch up on how everyone at home is doing, and make sure your needs are met.
What families say…
“During the birth, Liz ensured that we were always well informed, confident in our decision making, and in control of our birth.”
Sarah and Zach, Parents of Maelie, born 6/30/24

-
Daytime care is offered in 4 hour shifts: Morning (usually 7 to 11 am) and Evening (usually 12 to 4 pm).
During that time, I provide care to parents while they recover, make sure baby is thriving, and provide education on baby care. If time allows, additional support through light housework, cooking meals, and other basic tasks will be done as well.
-
Nighttime care is offered in 2 shifts: Early evening (6 pm to 2 am) and Late Night (9 pm to 5 am).
Services will be focused around baby care that allows parents to get an adequate amount of sleep. If parent is body feeding, I will wake parent, present baby, and take baby when they are finished.
-
I use my educational background to remind you when things are normal. When they are not, I stand by you non-judgmentally, and we work together to create a plan to make sure everyone is taken care of.
What Families Say…
“Beyond her professional guidance, Liz offered heartfelt companionship during a particularly challenging postpartum period.
Liz and Andrew, parents of Samuel, born 8/30/24
-
No matter where you birth, I am there to provide attentive care for the older child while you labor and give birth.
This gives the second parent a chance to be more attentive to the birther. Making sure they feel safe and secure while the family dynamic changes.
-
If you wish for the older sibling to be near by the birth, I provide age appropriate education for the child to understand the nature of what is happening.
I also will use that time to teach age appropriate baby care tasks they can do when baby arrives.
-
After baby arrives, I come for one postpartum visit with the older sibling to help them adjust to their new family member.
Sibling Doula

My rates are negotiable with the intention to match my experience, knowledge, and the needs I provide for my family.
Every family deserves a doula, and money should not be a barrier for an empowering start to parenthood.
I will happily discuss options to match your budget. This may include varying the amount of services I provide, bartering, or referring to organizations with more resources.
